That's not looking like anything we've seen like this http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/all-latest-hand-picked-news-stories/1635-foxconn-blackops-x48.html ??
What happened :) What cooling is going to be on the PWM area ??

I'm guessing mid febuary in line with http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3208 Asus Rampage "ASUS plans to continue in their tradition of early adoption of new chipsets with a mid-February release of their upcoming Rampage Formula motherboard" i would expect the ddr3 extreme to be out about the same time. If I was foxconn i'd be aiming to get to market about the same time i guess .

Good, but I hadn't expected less.
But will it come with the passive/air/water/extreme cooling solution shown at CES and at www.xtremesystems.org, or will it be somthing more like Mars and X38A?

you guys do know the fet area doesnt really get that hot even with quad core at 5500mhz if used a 80mm fan over the area
the chokes IMO bake the most the 4 in 1 cooler always ends wiht the fins at the top of the case ontop of the fets becasue thats where the heat from the hot parts 'chipsets' ends up to disapate
I prefer the sep coolers on top end boards my original mars was this way then i got retial with the heatpipe and was like what did they do this for :)
